4hero

A new 4hero album always calls for celebration, but this one’s not what you might think – it’s a series of “interpretations” of 4hero classics from their early rave days up till 2007’s ‘Play With the Changes’. Assembling a range of thoughtfully chosen producers, musicians and orchestras from across the planet to reinterpret Marc & Dego’s music in a live context  – whether the Afro-Cuban styles on ‘People Always Criticize Us’ by SHOOK’s Vince Vella or the jolted jazz of Robert Mitchell 3io covering ‘Third Stream’ – this is what your ears have been waiting for. Especially feeling Ayanna Witter Johnston’s arrangements and vocals on ‘Give In’. From ghetto to ghetto, city to city, 4hero are still doing it big.
