Dodgem Logic is the underground magazine that has been put together by creator of Watchmen and V for Vendetta Alan Moore. It’s being seen as a return to the heyday of alternative press, and it’s all been put together in his hometown of Northampton.
The publication has all kinds of really good stuff planned, including handing over some of its pages to Jamie Hewlitt and Damon Albarn’s Gorillaz project. They’ve also got planned contributions from comedian Stewart Lee, creator of League of Extraordinary gentlemen’s Kevin O’Neill and the musings of Father Ted, The IT Crowd and Black Book’s own Graham Lineham
The issue also calls upon a very traditional publishing process. The idea of making one section of the magazine region specific, so that the same segment can be produced by people from different regions and then binding them in.
The magazine is also apparently “As cheap and beautiful as a heartbreaking teenage prostitute, Dodgem Logic has a cover price of £2.50″, so you don’t really have an excuse for picking one up.
