Dont know why Zo! is giving this away coz I’d gladly pay money for it. He’s done versions of stuff like the Isley Brothers’ ‘The Highways of My Life’, a delightful cover of Minnie Ripperton’s ‘Perfect Angel’ featuring Yahzarah doing a prety darn good Minnie falsetto and one of my all time personal favourites, ‘Crazy You’, from Prince’s debut For You album. Oh yeah, that’s Sy Smith on vocals on that one. Rare groove classics from Don Blackman and Jones Girls also feature on this mini-album which presumably will have people getting all excited when Zo!’s full-length follows next year.
