The Cosmodelica Arthur Russell Radio Tribute features many of Arthur’s disco recordings under monikers such as Dinosaur L, Loose Joints and Felix along with an extensive interview with Tim Lawrence, author of “Hold On to Your Dreams: Arthur Russell and the Downtown Music Scene, 1973 – 1992″.

They explore Arthur’s adventures in the New York City dance scene in the 70’s and 80’s and how this elusive figure fused so many different “downtown” musical scenes and sounds. They also discuss why Arthur Russell is currently receiving so much attention with Tim Lawrence’s book, the film “Wild Combination: A Portrait of Arthur Russell” by Matt Wolf, the Arthur cover band Arthur’s Landing with an album due on Strut, and the remix compilation “A Tribute to Arthur Russell” on Electric Minds.
