It’s less than a month until the musical mayhem that we call Red Bull Music Academy kicks off forkidkanevil and his 59 fellow participants. The 28-year-old beat head has been musically commuting between London, LA, Detroit, and the wonky wonderland that is Tokyorkshire: keeping himself busy with the release of his new album, Basho Basho, set to drop next Monday on First Word Records.

To get a taste of this special bashoment party, fellow RMBA class of ‘10 TOKiMONSTA, who reps the somewhat dreamier division of that classic Brainfeeder beats sound, has done her own treatment of the lead/leak single Megajoy.

The track is featured on a new mix that Mr Kanevil has put together in promotion of the album, and it’s now up for grabs on his Soundcloud.
