Bilal’s had something of a revival of fortunes of late, helped in no small part with a series of superlative guest spots on records from Robert Glasper and Shafiq Husayn and so it’s with some sense of expectation that we await his forcoming album on LA label Plug Research who seem to be punching way above their weight of late.
