Taking out a 2009 Young Music Award last year, Austrian band Valesta have returned and dropped a big collaboration with fellow Viennese artist Nomadee and Cobane from the UK.

Using a live line-up to fuse electronic music with disco and electro, Valesta are an impressive act to watch on their own, but it is in fact the vocal stylings of guest vocalist Nomadee that pushes this joint to the next level. Nomadee first emerged on the UK scene with a track on K-Delight’s debut full length, Audio Revolution, and since has been seen by many as the benchmark for the Austrian scene, and underground artists world-over. Still consistently taking over clubs and impromptu venues with a barrage of live shows, the singer/rapper/record collector shows no signs of slowing down, as she continues to link with cats from all over the world. Never on the negative, she’s truly in it for the love of it. Big tip on Nomadee, no doubt we’ll be catching up with her more at a later date.

The track’s titled ‘Best Friends’, and a collaboration with Urban Legends and Kronos Media has produced one of the longest lists of supporting actors I’ve ever seen at the end of a music video, and it shows with the strong quality of production.

Brilliant review!...
Version of S/D/Mofo was unhinged; definitely not ponderous. It was crazy, dirty, wrong...
Stunning photo, whoever took that must really know what they're doing. Oh, good tracks ...
