Poejazzi is a spoken night word, but no… wait… don’t click away just yet… It’s not fully of posturing poets trading tired couplets and lovelorn tales which double as confession/catharsis. Unh huh. The next event will feature Eska and Tanya Auclair, the established and emerging faces of London’s alternative music scene, and will be supported by four superb poets making their names across the UK: Hollie McNish, Robert Auton, John Osborne and Birmingham’s Jodi Ann Bickley, who was recently featured by Company magazine as “One To Watch”. It takes place on 17 October at the Soho Theatre. Can’t wait.
