The renowned Moxie Edits Record label is making appearances in Berlin, Paris and this Saturday in London. Since Moxie came to existence in 2002 the worldwide Moxie collective, with key family members residing in Greece and Holland, has released records which have found their way into many respected underground Djs’ crates. Many will will be familiar with their trademark Horse with a twist logo. Some mystery has been surrounding the label since, indeed, due to guest ‘Editors’ rumored to be no other than Carl Craig, Recloose and Pilooski amongst other possible key players of the scene. As varied as the trademark style of those involved is, the releases have covered anything from extended Salsoul breaks, via 80s extravagant electronic funk, darker sounding minimal wave and detroit proto-techno and even flowery 60′s cuts. Grab the mix of magical Moxie moments and maybe see you on the dancefloor this Saturday.
