Dropping on Martyn’s label 3024, this is some of that Joy Orbison-inspired funky-dubstep crossover sound – “posh-step” as we like to call it in the office. Though be warned, Julio is no one-trick pony. There’s a rather nice final track on this ep, Grand National, which features some pretty authentic neighing. This EP will no doubt be flying out the traps, so keep an eye on that release date later in March.
